Terms of Service
Last updated August 2, 2026
The short version
anyppl is a free random video chat. You press start, you meet one person at a time, and either of you can end it whenever you like. It is for adults. It is moderated. If you use it to harm, harass or expose people, you lose access.
Everything below says the same thing in the form lawyers need.
1. Accepting these terms
By using anyppl you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service. We may update these terms; when we do, the "last updated" date at the top changes, and continuing to use anyppl after that means you accept the new version.
2. You must be 18 or older
anyppl is for adults only. By using it you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, and that using a video chat service is legal where you are.
There is no account system, so we cannot verify age at sign-up. What we do instead is act on it: accounts that appear to be minors are removed from the service when detected or reported, and we do not treat "there was no age check" as permission.
3. What you may not do
You may not use anyppl to:
- expose yourself, perform sexual acts, or display sexual content of any kind;
- involve, depict, target or attempt to contact anyone under 18;
- harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk or abuse anyone, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- record, screenshot, stream or republish another person without their consent;
- share, request or attempt to extract anyone's personal information;
- advertise, promote, solicit, scam, phish, or drive traffic anywhere;
- impersonate another person, or present a pre-recorded, looped or virtual video feed as a live camera;
- transmit malware, attempt to breach or overload the service, or interfere with anyone else's use of it;
- use bots, scripts or automation to connect, match or interact;
- do anything illegal where you are or where the person you are matched with is.
This list is not exhaustive. Behaviour that is obviously outside what a reasonable person would consider acceptable in a video conversation with a stranger is not permitted merely because it is not itemised here.
4. Moderation and enforcement
anyppl is actively moderated. Any participant can report any other participant, and reports are acted on.
We may, at our discretion and without notice, end a session, restrict matching, or block access from a device or network. Repeated or severe violations result in permanent removal. We are not obliged to explain a decision, and there is no appeals process.
Where content or conduct appears to involve a minor or an imminent risk to someone's safety, we may preserve relevant evidence and report it to the appropriate authorities.
5. Your camera, your responsibility
anyppl requires a working camera. What your camera shows is your choice and your responsibility: your surroundings, anyone else in the room, and anything visible behind you. Do not put someone else on camera without their agreement.
6. Conversations happen between users
Conversations on anyppl take place directly between two participants. We do not control what another person says, shows or does, and we cannot guarantee that any particular conversation will be pleasant, appropriate, or free of content you would rather not have seen.
Use the flag on the other person's video to report them, and end the conversation. Both of those work at any time.
7. Availability
anyppl is provided as it is, and as it happens to be available. We do not promise that it will be online, uninterrupted, error-free, or that anyone will be available to match with you. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time.
8. No warranty
To the fullest extent permitted by law, anyppl is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, anyppl and the people who operate it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or reputation, arising from your use of the service or from anything another participant does.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Intellectual property
The anyppl name, logo, interface and underlying software belong to their owner and may not be copied, reproduced or used to identify another service.
